On November 18 of this year, a delegation of 9 members led by G. L. Babayeva, Head of the Master’s Department of Andijan Institute of Engineering, D. A. Moydinov, Head of the Department of Automotive Engineering and Transport, and L. Y. Bakirov, Head of the Department of Transport Logistics, visited Baku Engineering University (BEU) of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The delegation members were warmly welcomed by the hosts, and at the beginning of the visit an official meeting was held with the university administration led by BEU Rector Yagub Piriyev. During the meeting, Rector Yagub Piriyev emphasized that the relations of friendship and brotherhood between the peoples of Uzbekistan have been consistently continuing for centuries. Speaking about the important steps taken under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to strengthen strategic international cooperation and friendly relations, Rector Yagub Piriyev highlighted that the sincere and warm relations between the two countries are creating broad opportunities for academic cooperation in the fields of education and science.

During the negotiations, a ‘Roadmap’ based on several tasks involving joint activities in the field of education and academic mobility, as well as scientific and technical cooperation between the two higher education institutions, was signed.
